Center for Life offers several affordable housing programs that benefit underserved individuals and families. Our organization maintains affordable rental units that are offered to low-income individuals and families, in addition to veterans. These properties are often managed by qualified tenants, including disabled veterans.
In addition, Center for Life acquires distressed properties from banks and other financial institutions. By investing in the restoration of these properties, our organization creates attractive, high-quality homes for future owners/occupants. As part of its property management and revitalization efforts, Center for Life also helps provide disabled veterans with employment opportunities.
Working with Mentor ME Ministries and local church organizations, Center for Life provides mentoring services and support for fatherless boys. Programs are tailored to help instill confidence and self-worth in boys between the ages of five and seventeen. Our goal is to provide them with the foundation they need to become strong, responsible fathers and positive, contributing members of society. The programs include physical fitness, computer skills and faith-based learning, as well as outdoor activities such as camping and hiking.
